Muuto, in Finnish “Muutos” i.e. “transformation”, is a Danish design brand located in Copenhagen, founded by Peter Bonnén and Kristian Byrge who aimed to give an international boost to Scandinavian design.

Scandinavian tradition has always been attached to everyday objects, used daily, and it is now looked at under a new perspective integrating aesthetics and timeless handicraft  with the usage of innovation materials, new techniques and audacious creativity.

Young talented designers become interpreters of the company's philosophy offering a new perspective to ordinary objects because according to Muuto design comes from people.
