John is a sofa bed with squared and decisive lines.

The seat, back and armrest cushions have a raised border running along the seams.

The backrest is equipped with practical pillow holders .

Two measures are proposed:

• 2 places :
  Closed sofa bed (L x W x H) 170 x 100 x 89 cm
  Open sofa bed (L x W x H) 170 x 210 x 89 cm
  Mattress (included; L x W x H): 100 x 197 x 13/14 cm;

• 3 places :
  Folded sofa bed (L x W x H): 210 x 100 x 89 cm
  Open sofa bed (L x W x H): 210 x 210 x 89 cm
  Mattress (included; L x W x H): 140 x 197 x 13/14 cm.

For all models:

• Seat height: 48cm
• Sofa seat depth: 58 cm

Coatings

The cover is completely removable and is available in a wide range of types and colours. Further coatings are available upon request. It is possible to request the sending of some fabric samples (free).

The piping can be selected in the same color or in contrast with the shade chosen for the covering. Specify in the notes, when ordering, the desired color if you choose the contrasting border (among all the colors available for the sofa). 

Technical data - sofa bed mechanism, mattress and base

The sofa bed mechanism opens with a single movement. Simply pull a cord, no need to remove the seat or back cushions.

The mattress has a density of 25 kg/m3 .

The bed base is made of square section tubular steel and is painted with epoxy powders. The mechanism has been tested for over 2000 opening cycles. The sleeping surface supports two adults of average weight without deforming.

Technical data - frame and padding

The frame of the sofa is in solid fir wood. The infill parts are in raw wood fiber and/or plywood, while the sides in agglomerated wood.

The padding of the seat cushions is made of shaped non-deformable polyurethane foam, covered with shaped and glued polyester resin. The back cushions are in non-deformable polyurethane foam. The pad of the armrests is made up of non-deformable shaped polyester foam.

• 2 large seats: 190 x 100 - 210 x 89 cm (mattress 120 x 197 cm);
• 3 maxi seats: 230 x 100 - 210 x 89 cm (mattress 160 x 197 cm).

Also available models with peninsula or container peninsula.
