Magis design armchair, Magis Proust model.

The Magis Proust armchair reinterprets the design icon signed by Alessandro Mendini in 1978: the Proust armchair, designed for the "Close encounters of architecture" exhibition at Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara.

Inspired by the literary atmospheres and artistic currents of Impressionism and Pointillism, the Proust armchair has since been reinterpreted several times by its designer to create unique exhibition pieces and finally become an iconic piece of furniture thanks to the collaboration with Magis.

The armchair is the result of a bold overlap between the shape of a faux-baroque armchair and some details of Paul Signac's paintings.

Also available in the solid color version, the Magis Proust armchair is suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces, in which becomes a furnishing element with a strong personality.

Made of polyethylene, resistant to weather, the Magis Proust armchair has a drainage hole between the seat and the backrest to allow water to drain in case of rain.

The dimensions are (L x W x H): 104 x 90 x 105 cm; seat height 39 cm; armrest height 67 cm.
