Anglepoise is a British brand that produces work lamps that have become design icons, recognized and appreciated for their flexibility and anthropomorphic shapes.

The mechanism that made Anglepose lamps famous was designed in 1932 by the automotive engineer George Carwardine: a system of springs, cranks and levers that allows the lamps to be flexible and stable at the same time, in perfect balance.
Important collaborations
Since the creation of the first Original 1227 lamp, Anglepoise has undertaken numerous collaborations with leading British designers such as Paul Smith , Margaret Howell and also the Roald Dahl Museum. To date, Anglepoise lamps are widespread in homes, offices, restaurants and hotels, in more than 50 countries around the world.
