Discover the brand
For over fifty years, Kartell has lived in our homes with objects with an unmistakable personality. Starting in 1949, founded by Giulio Castelli, it pushed towards the renewal of everyday objects by introducing design elements in a then new material, plastic.
Today Kartell objects tell a very long story, written by the people who use them, the company that produces them strictly in Italy, and by the designers who design their shapes.
Kartell chairs, tables, accessories and furnishings link memory and future furnishing projects. Iconic lines go along with projects that break the mold, signed by prestigious Italian and international designers. And the materials embrace new philosophies: recycling, sustainability and environmental protection, with the aim of 100% green production by 2030.
