Garden chair with armrests by Fermob, Luxembourg collection.

Initially designed for the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris, this collection of outdoor chairs has become iconic. Emblem of French design and culture, the line was created in 1923 and then reinterpreted in 2004 by Frédéric Sofia. As originally, Luxembourg seats and tables are still produced in France today and are characterized by their ergonomic shapes and practicality of use. Lightweight and resistant, the furnishings of the Luxembourg collection are made of painted aluminum and are ideal for the home garden, the furnishing of bars and restaurants, as well as for public spaces.

The dimensions of the chair with armrests are (L x W x H): 65.5 x 57 x 88 cm; seat height 49 cm, armrest height 67. Stackable up to 8 units.

Luxembourg Collection

The Luxembourg furniture collection also includes armless chairs , lounge seats , benches , stools and tables in different sizes, all suitable for outdoor use, extremely resistant to UV rays and atmospheric agents.

Corrosion Resistance Index (IPAC)

Fermob articles are classified according to a corrosion resistance index (IPAC, Anti-corrosion Performance Rating) on a scale from 1 to 10 by combining three factors: design, material and surface treatment.

For all Fermob products the starting IPAC index is 6 out of 10. For some products it is possible to request a further optional treatment to raise the resistance level, suitable for example for particularly saline or humid environments (e.g. in seaside locations or in the swimming pool).
